Friday, August 16th. Day 59
Today's miles = 8 Total CDT miles = 920.9
I woke up at normal time today and hiked the 8 miles to the road to town. A young couple headed home to Colorado for a funeral picked us up and drove us the 40 or so miles to Dubois. We got a room at the Black Bear Motel, did laundry, then headed out for dinner. I had a salad and sweet potato fries at the 'Cowboy Cafe'. After dinner the owner of the motel had a camp fire down by the water right behind her motel and invited us out for s'mores. Raffle and Flyboxer were there eating as well. The motel had no cable but Liz (owner) had a ton of VHS tapes we could borrow and watch. We watched 'Twister' and 'Xmen'.
